Shiraka Study Visit Citizen Engagement in Urban Development

8-12 May 2023, The Hague, The Netherlands – The “Shiraka Study Visit on Citizen Engagement  in Urban Development” will take place from 8 to 12 May 2023 in The Hague to inspire the participants with innovative projects in good governance, spatial justice, and resilient and inclusive cities from The Netherlands. Practical examples from The Netherlands will serve as inspiration and motivation for new initiatives on citizen engagement in urban development in the target (UfM Arab) countries. The meeting organized by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the support of the UfM, will promote community and stakeholder engagement and co-creation of shared visions for the region. It will strengthen cross-border cooperation and coordination, and exchange of knowledge between local and national planning authorities.
