During the interview Mr. Amrani highlighted that the Union for the Mediterranean is an opportunity to enhance the cooperation between the North and the South of the Mediterranean, and that it has to be part of the EU Neighbourhood Policy and the European Funding Strategy 2014-2020. He added that the UfM will not only focus on mega projects, yet on small and medium projects which have direct impact on the average citizens, and that the organization is currently filtering a group of projects in different sectors.
