Second UfM Working Group on Sustainable and Affordable Housing

28 February-1 March 2019, Paris. The Second Meeting of the UfM Thematic Working Group on Affordable and Sustainable Housing is hosted in Paris by the Ministry of Territorial Cohesion of the French Republic.  This Thematic Working Group assists the UfM Regional Platform on sustainable urban development in preparing the groundwork for the implementation of the UfM Urban Agenda. The Working Group is elaborating a set of recommendations in the form of an action plan with policy and operational guidelines. The Action Plan aims at facilitating regional convergence towards achieving the goals and objectives of Agenda 2030  and the New Urban Agenda, building on best practices in the region. The UfM collaborates with the European Commission, UN Habitat, OECD, experts from Europe, Asia and Africa, international cooperation agencies, IFIs and other stakeholders.
