Seminar: Establishment of the Second Chance Schools Network in Spain
27-29 January 2016. Marseille, France
In the framework of the Mediterranean New Chance (MedNC) project, a first transfer of knowledge and exchange of experiences and best practices between the Second Chance School of Marseille and some Spanish entities working for the social and professional integration of young people excluded from the labour market will take place in Marseille on 28 and 29 January 2016.
The seminar, which will be complemented by a visit to the Second Chance School of Marseille, a presentation of its pedagogical model and a gathering with the President of the Second Chance School network in France, Mr. Alexandre Schajer, will be an opportunity for the Spanish centres to discuss the proposal for the creation of a national network, its objectives and governance as well as the steps to move forward.
Promoted by the Office of Economic Cooperation for the Mediterranean and Middle East (OCEMO), the UfM labelled project MedNC is currently being implemented in Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia and aims to be replicated to other Euro-Mediterranean countries.
