Youssef Amrani in Paris Conference on Libya
Paris – More than 60 countries and international organizations convened on 1st September in Paris to discuss the future of Libya’s political, economic and social development at the Conference in support of the New Libya. During the conference, the Libya’s Transitional Council (TNC) presented its road map for the new Libya, as well the humanitarian needs of the country.
Mr. Amrani considers that in this political context, it is essential that the international and the Euro-Mediterranean communities mobilize to execute concrete actions which answer the needs of the Libyan population. The Union for the Mediterranean will provide Libya all the necessary support to accompany the reconstruction process.
