According to Data Protection applicable laws, the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (“UFMS”) hereby informs users who may provide personal data to UFMS of its Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”).
This Privacy Policy applies to any data collected and processed by UFMS. To this effect, browsing UFMS website (www.ufmsecretariat.org) is completely anonymous and does not require the provision of any personal data neither UFMS collects any data by means of cookies or similar tools. UFMS may process personal data only when a user provides such data to UFMS, such as when the user choose to subscribe to UFMS newsletter, to take part in online surveys and/or other online forms offered through this site according to the conditions set out in this Privacy Policy as well as for attending the user queries sent to UFMS.
It is understood that any user that provides its personal data to UFMS does so voluntarily and freely and with its express and unequivocal consent.
Data Base: Personal Data collected by UFMS by the above methods will be incorporated in the database known as “Internet Users Database”, located in the UFMS’ registered office. This database has the exclusive purpose of disseminating, advertising and promoting current and/or futures activities of UFMS as well as for answer the user queries sent to UFMS. Nobody is obliged to provide data to the UFMS, the only consequence of not doing so being that UFMS will not be able to provide any information to, or contact such user.
Rights: Any user providing his/her personal data to UFMS has rights of access, correction, cancellation and objection regarding his/her personal data. Such rights may be exercised by notice in writing sent to UFMS registered address or by electronic mail sent to communication@ufmsecretariat.org
UFMS undertakes to respect the obligation of privacy established by the Data Protection applicable laws in respect of the data contained in its database.
If UFMS provides and applies any particular privacy conditions for any specific service and/or online form, these will prevail in case of conflict between them and this Privacy Policy.
UFMS reserves its right to modify its Privacy Policy in accordance with Data Protection applicable laws at any time. Any amendment to the Privacy Policy will be published on the website www.ufmsecretariat.org, accessible by any user.
