The meeting was an occasion to reiterate Sweden’s support to the UfM and to explore ways to enhance joint work on the concrete projects the UfM is leading.

UfM Secretary General Sijilmassi welcomed the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel García-Margallo, at the premises of the UfM. Both parties agreed on continuing to develop common synergies to boost an operational collaboration based on concrete actions.
A workshop on “The Methods of Formulation and Presentation of Economic Projects” was held in Tunis on Tuesday 10th July by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) in collaboration with Tunisia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
