Mobilising Action Against Climate Change: UfM Secretariat attends United Nations Climate Summit 2014
• The UfM Secretariat participated in the UN Climate Summit 2014, organised by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
• The Summit brought together world leaders from governments, finance, business and civil society, to champion an ambitious vision and catalyse action against climate change.
• تم إنجاز المرحلة الأولى من مشروع “حوكمة وتمويل قطاع المياه في البحر الأبيض المتوسط” المعتمد من قبل الاتحاد من أجل المتوسط بعد الانتهاء الناجح من الحوارات السياسة في كل من الأردن وتونس. ونظم مقدّما المشروع وهما الشراكة العالمية للمياه- منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط (GWP-Med) منظمة التعاون والتنمية الاقتصادية (OECD) ورش عمل لإطلاق التقارير المحلية على التوالي في كل من عَمّان وتونس العاصمة.
• اجتمعت الجهات المعنية بقطاعي المياه والمياه العادمة – أي السلطات والمرافق والجهات المانحة والمجتمع المحلي والقطاع الخاص إلخ – لبحث نتائج التقرير وتوصياته القائمة على العمل التحليلي وعلى مجموعة من الاجتماعات الاستشارية التي اضطلعت بها الشراكة العالمية للمياه- منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط (GWP-Med) و منظمة التعاون والتنمية الاقتصادية (OECD) خلال فترة العشرة أشهر السابقة للمشروع.

Today the UfM Secretariat hosted a meeting of the Committee on Energy, Environment and Water of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean (PA-UfM) at its Barcelona headquarters.
