3 June 2026, Brussels/Belgium – The 11th UfM Regional Platform on Trade, Investment and Industry will convene in Brussels to advance the Euro-Mediterranean trade and investment agenda, bringing together national focal points from the UfM Member States as well as key regional and international partners. The Platform meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss concrete pathways towards deeper regional integration, sustainable trade, and regulatory convergence across the Euro-Mediterranean economies.
The meeting will place emphasis on the state of play of the Pact for the Mediterranean and the Trans-Mediterranean Renewable Energy and Clean Tech Initiative (T-MED), alongside the revised rules of the Pan-Euro-Mediterranean (PEM) Convention on Rules of Origin. Members will also discuss policy recommendations emanating from the second edition of the Union for the Mediterranean’s Progress Report on Regional Integration.
The Regional Platform on Trade, Investment and Industry meets twice per year, co-chaired by the UfM Co-Presidency: the European Commission (DG TRADE) and Jordan (Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply). It brings together representatives from trade, investment, and industry ministries of UfM Member States.
