Med4Jobs 1st Technical Platform on ALMPs – Improving Labour Market Intermediation Policies in the Middle East and North African Countries

Unlike employability, labour markets intermediation programs and projects in the Euro-Mediterranean countries are rather limited and do not benefit from the same level of funding. Yet, it is a key element to improve employment in the region. The UfM Secretariat places Job intermediation as a major component of the Med4Jobs initiative and in this framework organizes the 1st Technical Platform on Job Intermediation and placement services in MENA countries on the 15th of October 2014 in Barcelona.

The workshop aims at exchange of best practices on job intermediation at a technical level, facilitate cooperation between local and regional actors, identify successful practices for potential replication and up-scaling and explore areas for possible UfM intervention and support under Med4Jobs.
