Slovenia confirms strong commitment in key areas of cooperation in the Mediterranean.

Barcelona, 2 September, 2013. UfM Secretary General Sijilmassi held a meeting today with Mr Karel ERJAVEC, Minister of Foreign Affairs, during an official visit to Slovenia, a country actively committed for years in support of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation. Minister Erjavek expressed full support to the development of the activities of the UfM Secretariat and confirmed Slovenian commitment in key areas of cooperation.

A working meeting will be held tomorrow with Mr Jernej PIKALO, Minister of Education, Science and Sport to discuss the development of institutions and projects in the area of Higher Education and Research, as the EMUNI University of Piran-Portoroz in Slovenia. Secretary General Sijilmassi will also hold talks with Ms Tamara VONTA, State Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office.
