29.09.2011: International Seminar “Challenges of Mediterranean Urban Development: towards an integrated and sustainable development of the cities”

Organised by the Casa Mediterraneo in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean, Medcities, ArtGold-PNUD and Marseilles Centre for Mediterranean Integration.
This seminar will gather experts, academics and main authorities related to the development of regions and cities of the Mediterranean basin, emphasising the need to strengthen cooperation and to better coordinate actions in order to ensure a strategic urban development planning which would contribute towards economic growth, respecting the environment and adapt to the needs of the population.
