MedeCC Plenary consultation on the draft Summary for Policymakers of the Mediterranean Assessment Report on climate and Environmental Change

22 September 2020. The Mediterranean basin is one of the world’s regions most impacted by climate change. The Mediterranean region is warming 20% faster than the global average, according to the first-ever scientific report on the impact of climate change in the Mediterranean: Risks associated to climate and environmental changes in the Mediterranean region (carried out by the MedECC network – Mediterranean Experts on Climate and Environmental Change).
On Tuesday 22 September, the Plenary consultation on the draft Summary for Policymakers of this first Mediterranean Assessment Report will take place.
