The UfM Secretariat hosts a Conference on Financing Opportunities for cooperation projects in R&D in the Mediterranean region

The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) is hosting an informative session entitled “Financing Opportunities for cooperation projects in R&D in the Mediterranean region” on 26 November in its headquarters in Barcelona.
The event, which is co-organized by the Catalan Agency for Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) aims at raising awareness and informing research teams about available financial sources for the development of cooperation projects in the region.
Detailed information on the ongoing calls for projects proposals launched under Horizon 2020, ERANETMED and ENI CBC MED Programmes will be delivered.
Projects and initiatives with a Research & Innovation component in which the UfM is involved will be also presented. Special emphasis will be put on the project for the establishment of the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fes. Participants will be invited to share ideas of new regional projects in the field of research whereby the support of the UfM Secretariat could bring an added value.
This meeting contributes to enhance joint cooperation research activities in the region in line with the UfM mandate and work programme.
