Mediterranean NEXUS Project Coordinators Meeting

21-22 January 2015, Barcelona

The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean will participate in the organisation of the Mediterranean NEXUS Project Coordinators Meeting, which will take place on 21-22 January 2015, in Barcelona, within the framework of the MED-SPRING project.

This meeting comes from the joint initiative of the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), coordinator of the INCO-NET project “Mediterranean Science, Policy, Research & Innovation Gateway” (MED-SPRING) through its Institute of Bari, and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), one of the main project’s partner.

The objective of this meeting is to explore the potential synergies between different EU-funded research projects promoting cooperation among the European Union-Mediterranean Partner Countries (EU-MPC) in the areas of water, energy and food production. The overall goal is to upscale their visibility and maximise their results.
