12 February 2026, Brussels. The upcoming Senior Officials Meeting on 12 of February in Brussels will follow up on the new strategic vision for the UfM. A meeting of the Board of Governors of the Anna Lindh Foundation will take place in the same venue, in the afternoon of the same day.
The UfM Senior Officials Meeting is a gathering of high-ranking government officials to discuss and coordinate on various matters. The meetings provide the framework to discuss the current political context and coordinate the work of the UfM Secretariat. They approve the budget and work programme of the Secretariat and set the basis to prepare the Ministerial Meetings. They also discuss the project proposals submitted for approval and endorsement. The Senior Officials take decisions by consensus.
