
The MEDPorts Association and the Union for the Mediterranean have launched the first Mediterranean Most Resilient Port of the Year Award.
The annual award recognises Mediterranean ports that demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, preparedness and operational performance in strengthening the resilience of maritime transport and logistics systems.
Applications will be assessed across the following areas:
The award is open to commercial seaports located in the Mediterranean region.
Applications may be submitted by port authorities and port management bodies that can demonstrate concrete resilience-related measures, projects or strategies already implemented within their port environment.
MEDPorts members may apply directly. Non-member ports may also participate, provided they submit a MEDPorts membership application alongside their award application.

Non-member ports must also submit a signed request to join the MEDPorts Association, including the port authority’s name, the contact details of its CEO or President, and the designated MEDPorts contact person.
