Mediterranean Most Resilient Port of the Year Award - Call for Applications 2026

Applications will be assessed across the following areas:

• Crisis management and response

• Adaptability and flexibility
• Environmental resilience
• Long-term investment and resilience planning

1. Complete the application form

Provide general information about the port and a concise executive summary of no more than two pages covering:

• The main resilience challenges faced by the port
• Key initiatives implemented
• Achievements and measurable impacts
• Strategic vision and future objectives

2. Prepare supporting evidence

Applicants may submit relevant:

• Technical reports, presentations and case studies
• Operational data and certifications
• Videos, photographs, diagrams and infographics
• Other supporting documentation

The application form confirms that non-confidential information may be used for award-related communications.

3. Upload the application

Create a folder in the shared Google Drive using the name of the port, for example, “Port of XXX”, and upload the completed form and supporting documents.

Applications from non-member ports

Non-member ports must also submit a signed request to join the MEDPorts Association, including the port authority’s name, the contact details of its CEO or President, and the designated MEDPorts contact person.
