Side Event at the 23rd Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Barcelona Convention

5 to 8 December 2023, Portoroz – The 23rd Meeting of the Parties to the Barcelona Convention and its Protocols will take place in Portoroz, Slovenia. This event, supported by partner countries and organizations of the “Plan of Action for a Model Mediterranean Sea by 2030” (PAMEx), will feature a compelling side event.  Facilitated roundtable discussions, enriched by Thematic Experts and Knowledge Expert contributions, will delve into key topics, including nature-based solutions, sustainable fisheries, pollution reduction, and maritime transport. Participants will be encouraged to actively share thoughts, experiences, and potential project ideas, fostering collaboration, and emphasizing the benefits of partnering with the PAMEx Local Investment Finance Facility (PLIFF). The event will conclude with a resounding call to action, motivating participants to follow up, submit project proposals, or express their interest in investing in the fund.
