TAIEX Multi-Regional Workshop on Energy Efficiency in Buildings

5-8 July, Madrid (Spain)- Organised in co-operation with the European Commission & Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda of Spain, the TAIEX Multi-Regional Workshop on Energy Efficiency in Buildings will take place in Madrid on July 5th-8th 2022.
The aim of the Workshop is to present the experience of 3 EU Mediterranean countries (Spain, France, and Croatia) in Energy Renovation in the Building Sector, and to exchange information with other Mediterranean countries about lessons learnt and challenges for the future.
Different experts from State and Local Administrations and Universities will share experiences and best practices concerning several aspects: the regulatory framework for energy efficiency in buildings (including minimum standards, the Energy Performance Certificate, transposition of Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, etc.), National Strategies to support building renovation (including 3 national Long-Term Renovation Strategies, according to EPBD Directive) and Funding Programmes and Financial Schemes, including European Programmes, and Next Generation funds.
Several examples from different urban regeneration projects in Madrid city (city centre, slum upgrading, housing states) will be presented in detail and 2 Field Trips will give the opportunity to visit them on site.
