The Regional Activity Centre for Sustainable Consumption and Production is launching the Catalonia Ecodesign Award 2015. This is an initiative organized by the Government of Catalonia and it is open to candidates based in Mediterranean neighbouring countries. The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) has collaborated with RES4MED (Renewable Energy Solutions for the Mediterranean) and Enel Foundation in the first edition of the Advanced Training Course “Integration of Renewable Energy Solutions in the Mediterranean electricity markets” that was successfully concluded in November. The UfM-labelled project Governance & Financing for the Mediterranean Water Sector successfully launched the national policy dialogue in Palestine — the first country to enter the second phase — during a first consultation workshop in Rammallah on 13 November.
