UfM Co-Presidency agrees to continue building on the current positive momentum of the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation

The UfM Co-Presidents, Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Nasser Judeh, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, met on 13 April with the Secretary General of the UfM, Fathallah Sijilmassi, at the UfM premises in Barcelona. The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean expresses its deepest emotion following the tragedy that has once more claimed the lives of hundreds of human beings in the Mediterranean Sea, and extends its condolences to the families of the victims. Next UfM Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) will be held in Jordan by ‎the end of May ‎

Barcelona, 2 April 2015. The Senior Officials of the Union for the Mediterranean member states, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of the UfM, will meet in Jordan by the end of May 2015. This was announced at the UfM Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) held last March 31st in Brussels.
