Integration of Renewable Energy Solutions in the Mediterranean electricity markets. Advanced Training Course successfully completed.

December, 2014. The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) has collaborated with RES4MED (Renewable Energy Solutions for the Mediterranean) and Enel Foundation in the first edition of the Advanced Training Course “Integration of Renewable Energy Solutions in the Mediterranean electricity markets” that was successfully concluded in November. National Consultation Workshop successfully launches second phase of project in Palestine

Barcelona, 13 November 2014. The UfM-labelled project Governance & Financing for the Mediterranean Water Sector successfully launched the national policy dialogue in Palestine — the first country to enter the second phase — during a first consultation workshop in Rammallah on 13 November. Officially launched in May 2013, this regional project is jointly implemented by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Global Water Partnership-Mediterranean(GWP-Med).
