Regional Training on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) & 2nd Meeting of the Mediterranean ESD Committee

24-26 June, Crete, Greece. The Mediterranean Strategy on Education for Sustainable Development was adopted together with the UfM Ministerial on ENV and CC in May 2014.
Together with countries and other stakeholders, the event aims to review the progress made on the mainstreaming and application of the related Action Plan and to present the results of the national capacity building activities on ESD supported by the EU funded SWIM-H2020 SM Programme.
The meeting will be also an opportunity to enhance the competencies on major thematic priorities of the region within the lenses of ESD, namely on Sustainable Consumption & Production (SCP), Combating Marine Litter and Biodiversity & Biosphere Reserves (BRs).
