Communication & Public Affairs

Isabel Pardillos has been serving as Head of Communication and Public Affairs at the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean in Barcelona since 2019. In this role, she is responsible for coordinating and managing the organization’s communication work programme and providing strategic advice to senior leadership. She has played a key role in creating and shaping the Communication Unit since 2012, taking on various roles including Digital Communications Officer and Head of Press and Media.

From 2008 to 2012, she worked on a program implemented by the Spanish Ministry of Economy to promote the brand SPAIN abroad, attract foreign investment, and facilitate the internationalization of Spanish companies. During this time, she held an advisor position at the Spanish Foreign Trade Commission in Shanghai. Prior to this, she held communication and marketing positions for international companies and PR agencies in Ireland and Spain.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Zaragoza and a master’s degree in International Management from ICEX-CECO.
