The Euro-Mediterranean University of Fes (UEMF) launches the tender to select an architectural firm
Barcelona, 14 February 2014. The Euro-Mediterranean University of Fes has launched a tender for the selection of the architectural firm responsible for the design and monitoring of the construction of its 107,000 m2 campus. The tender opening session will take place on 5 March 2014 at 10 am, at the UEMF headquarters in Rabat.
Recognised with the UfM label in June 2012, UEMF will stand as a new and unique regional campus that will contribute towards promoting dialogue, cultural exchange and cooperation in higher education and research between both rims of the Mediterranean.
This innovative Euro-Mediterranean approach will be reflected not only in the diversity of nationalities of its students, professors, researchers and non-academic staff, but also in the language and contents of the programmes, which will focus on topics with important impact on the integrated development of the region.
The construction of the University Campus is due to begin in August 2014 with the objective of completing the first building in August 2015. In September 2015 the university will be in a position to welcome 165 students.
