The European League for Economic Cooperation organises seminar on Mediterranean governance in Rabat
Barcelona, 19 September 2014. The Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), Fathallah Sijilmassi, will participate in the seminar “Governance, key factor for economic growth and social balance”, organised by the European League for Economic Cooperation (ELEC) on 19-20 September, in Rabat.
The seminar, which will take place at the National Library of Morocco, in Rabat, aims to discuss and analyse current Mediterranean governance issues such as the state-of-play of regional initiatives, the reform of the public administrations, the local governance and the private sector and civil society governance.
High-level officials from Morocco, the EU, as well as other relevant Mediterranean related institutions will participate in the seminar to discuss the aforementioned governance issues and other related challenges in the region.
