04.06.2012: International scientific symposium “Science, Networks, Consciousness in the Mediterranean Basin”

A delegation from the UfM Secretariat will attend this Franco-Israeli-Palestinian scientific symposium, which is organised at the initiative of the Permanent Delegation of France to UNESCO and French Academy of Sciences.
The event aims to promote reconciliation between the different actors in the Middle East through scientific cooperation. The purpose of this event is to highlight scientific cooperation between the two shores of the Mediterranean and amongst research networks established or encouraged, in particular by France. The day will bring together participants from different countries of the Mediterranean, around Israeli and Palestinian partners, and will conclude with a roundtable discussion bringing together personalities of the international scientific community, working on future projects.
