ETF-UNIMED-UFM seminar
8 May, Barcelona. The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfMS), the Mediterranean Universities Union (UNIMED) and the European Training Foundation (ETF) organize at the UfM headquarters in Barcelona on 8 May, 2018, a seminar on «Educational pathways: how to strengthen bridges and links between higher education and vocational training to meet the needs of the socio-economic world».
This seminar, which seeks to foster the sharing of experiences and facilitate dialogue, will allow to tackle the points of view of decision-makers, university representatives, socio-economic actors, experts and any practitioner interested in the linkage between higher education and vocational training.
It will contribute to:
-take stock of actions already undertaken in this area in the Euro-Mediterranean region,
– identify their impact within the universities,
– define concrete follow-up actions for reinforcing regional cooperation in this field.
This Seminar is held within the framework of the RESUME project which is an international cooperation project promoted by UNIMED and financed by the European Commission within the Erasmus + programme. RESUME aims at enhancing and reinforcing the role and potential of HEIs in the development of employability in the Mediterranean countries by adopting a transversal entrepreneurial mind-set at the higher education instittions and by opening and structuring the dialogue among the universities, the enterprises and the policy makers.
