Action Plan Follow-up Meeting for the Trans-Maghreb Motorway Axis (TMMA) Horizontal Actions

The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean will organise a meeting to discuss the progress of the Action Plan for the management of the Trans-Maghreb Motorway Axis. Participants will review an analysis on the financial institutions’ ongoing initiatives as well as the financing of the horizontal actions detailed in the Action Plan. Participating institutions include the Secretariat of the GTMO 5+5, the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, the African Development Bank and the International Road Transport Union (IRU).

This meeting follows a previous high-level seminar entitled Working Days: Horizontal Actions for the Integration and Coordination of the Trans-Maghreb Motorway Axis Management, which was held from 6-7 May 2014 and set the basis for the definition of the Action Plan.
