The UfM is heading to COP30 in Brazil: Call for Expressions of Interest for side events at the Mediterranean Pavilion
27 October 2025. The UfM and its Mediterranean Pavilion will be at the COP30 in Belém, Brazil (10-21 November 2025), working with partners to bring the Mediterranean voice to global climate negotiations and showcasing practical, scalable solutions from across the region.The UfM is launching an Expression of Interest for hosting side Events, Receptions, or Exhibitions at the Mediterranean Pavilion during COP30.
Building on the success of previous editions at COP27, COP28 and COP29, the Mediterranean Pavilion stands as a platform for regional collaboration efforts and ambition in tackling climate change. It aligns closely with COP30’s global vision, while bringing the distinctive voice of the Mediterranean to Belém.
The Pavilion is designed to serve as a dynamic regional hub, showcasing the activities undertaken by public institutions, climate champions, private sector entities, civil society organizations and youth representatives in driving a sustainable and inclusive transition.
With the call, the UfM invites all organizations working across the Mediterranean region to submit proposals for activities and side events to be featured at the Mediterranean Pavilion.

Submission Guidelines
- Please submit one Form per institution.
- Priority will be given to in-person event formats.
- Kindly note we cannot provide speaker accreditation. We therefore recommend securing accreditation through alternative channels.
Timeline
Deadline to submit proposals: 1 November 2025.
Selection criteria
- Applicants will be notified of the outcome, including the scheduled date and time of their event, by 5 November 2025.
- The section process will aim to ensure a diverse and inclusive participation, offering opportunities for a wide range of stakeholders to host or co-host events in the Pavilion.
