WEBINAR: Economic Opportunities and Skills in the Post-Pandemic Horizon: Reasons for Hope
20 May 2020, 15h00 CEST, 1 hour (40 min. seminar + 20 min. Q&A). The first webinar to be delivered by the UfM Business Development and Employment Division is anchored to the UfM efforts to contribute to the post-pandemic recovery, and aims to showcase some of the promising sectors and the required skills for the ‘new normal’ that will follow the crisis.
Capitalizing on the in-house expertise in several sectors, our experts will be sharing their experience, know-how and prospects with the general public, with a focus on young people, as part of its social responsibility and its commitment to reach out to more and more target groups. Social, Digital, Creative and Blue Economy are some of the sectors that will be presented, and the discussion will focus on such skills-for-the-near-future like entrepreneurial resilience, cognitive flexibility and digital literacy, among others.

• A brief on the UfM and its efforts aiming at post-pandemic recovery;

• An explanation of the foreseen trends and tendencies in the labout market and the necessary skills for the post-pandemic ‘future of work’.
