UfM Experts Technical Meeting on Industrial Cooperation
The UfM Experts Technical Meeting on Industrial Cooperation substitutes and replaces the former Euro-Mediterranean Working Party on industrial cooperation, following the mandate received by the Co-Presidency and the SOs for the UFMisation of the Euro-Med Industrial Cooperation Process. The process falls under the responsibilities assigned to the UfM Secretariat of holding consultations and exploring elements of a proposed joint work program of industrial cooperation, with all relevant partners according to the UfM Secretariat methodology, in close coordination with DG GROW and the Jordanian Co-Presidency.
The UfM Experts Technical Meeting on Industrial Cooperation brings together representatives from relevant Ministries, private sector associations and SMEs Institutions of the UfM Member states, as well as international organizations, such as the OECD and the ETF.
The objective of the UfM Experts Technical Meeting on Industrial Cooperation is to increase job creation, backing SMEs development and the private sector, through a new joint work program on Industrial Cooperation, under the UFM framework, in preparations for the UFM Ministerial meeting on Industrial Cooperation, planned in 2018.
