The UfM Energy and Climate Business Forum 2025 will be held on 12 May 2025 as part of the Kuwait Sustainable Energy Week (KSEW), bringing together key stakeholders from the Euro-Mediterranean and Gulf regions to address pressing challenges in energy transition and climate resilience.
This year’s forum is building on the success of the previous edition, in collaboration with RCREEE and under the patronage of the Kuwaiti Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy. The Forum aims to foster cross-regional collaboration, private sector development, promote sustainable energy initiatives and solutions that target climate action adaptation and mitigation, and unlocking business opportunities through high-level dialogues, targeted workshops, and investment facilitation.
The 5th UfM Business Forum seeks to facilitate discussions among stakehoders from Europe, the Mediterranean and the Gulf to shape a future of greater cooperation. To accelerate the transition, it is essential to scale up finance for innovative solutions and technologies which can only be achieved by fostering collaboration between governments, policymakers and the private sector, at regional and international level.
