Towards a Renewed Strategic Agenda for Cooperation on Higher Education and Research in the Mediterranean

19 May 2022. In the framework of the UNESCO World Higher Education Conference (WHEC2022), the UfM is organising a Side Event entitled “Towards a Renewed Strategic Agenda for Cooperation on Higher Education and Research in the Mediterranean”. The meeting, that will take place on 19 May 2022 from 17.00 to 19.45 (CEST) at the UfM Headquarters in Barcelona, will explore regional priorities on higher education and research and is aimed at launching the process leading to a renewed regional strategic agenda on higher education by listening to the voices of key stakeholders involved in the sector. It will cover the following topics:
– Advancing the internationalization of higher education in the region
– Improving higher education governance
– Enhancing the role of higher education systems and institutions in addressing youth employability.
