UfM Secretariat to launch Skills for Success project in Lebanon with a workshop on vocational training for girls and women

With the aim to foster employment opportunities, the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean will be organising on 10 October, in Beirut, the launching of the  “Skills for Success: Employability Skills for Women” project’s first phase. This UfM-labelled project is promoted by AMIDEAST and seeks to support 450 young women and girls from Lebanon, Jordan, Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia in acquiring the tools, knowledge and skills needed to access local labour markets. UfM Secretariat and CIHEAM join forces to advance cooperation in higher education and food security in the Euro-Mediterranean region
