The Secretary General of the UfM and Luxembourg’s Minister of Foreign Affairs agree on the need to advance Euro-Mediterranean cooperation

Luxembourg, 29 June 2015. Under Luxembourg’s current Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Mr Fathallah Sijilmassi, Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean, held a working session in Luxembourg with Mr Jean Asselborn, the country’s Minister for Foreign Affairs. Sciences Po PAris provides Southern Mediterranean young women leaders with high-level training programme as part of “WoMED – next generation of leaders” project

As part of its women empowerment strategy, UfM has labelled a leadership project called WoMED “next generation of leaders” for 22 young women from the Southern Mediterranean, which aims to improve their leadership capacities and gender equality skills.
