Interview with Imene Bouchair, representing the Mediterranean Youth Climate Network (MYCN)

The second “Union for the Mediterranean Regional Forum. Mediterranean in Action: Youth for Stability and Development” was held on 23 and 24 January 2017 at the Palau de Pedralbes in Barcelona.

Building on the success of the first edition, held in Barcelona on 26 November of last year, the second UfM Regional Forum, centered around our youth’s potential as driving force for stability and development, will bring together the region’s key players to review the UfM’s action-oriented collective activities and achievements and to discuss perspectives for strengthening our cooperation, synergies and complementarities between main stakeholders, including the promoters and beneficiaries of UfM projects, towards a better future for the Euro-Mediterranean region.

The Forum was presided by the Co-Presidency of the Union for the Mediterranean, assumed by the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Ms. Federica Mogherini, and by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Al Safadi.
