
Opening ceremony of the IBEI Summer School of the Mediterranean: “Regional integration at the core of the Mediterranean agenda”
Barcelona, 7 July 2014. UfM Secretary General Sijilmassi will deliver the lecture “UfM: an Operational Platform for Dialogue and Regional Integration” on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the IBEI Summer School of the Mediterranean, to be held this evening at the Barcelona Institute of International Studies (IBEI) at 7:00 pm.
The fifth annual IBEI Summer School of the Mediterranean will take place in Barcelona from 7 to 11 July 2014, in collaboration with the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed). The IBEI’s Summer School programme aims to offer various short courses on significant topics in international and Mediterranean affairs, taught by world-renowned experts including Dr Omar Ashour, Dr Eduard Soler, Lurdes Vidal, Prof. Pere Vilanova and Prof. Saloua Zerhouni. The direction and coordination of the summer school will be carried out by Prof. Pere Vilanova (University of Barcelona-IBEI).
The summer school is addressed to graduate students, professors and researchers in political science, economics and international affairs who are interested in learning first-hand about the latest research advances in Mediterranean politics and international relations.
