Senior Deputy Secretary General Lino Cardarelli attends the EUROMED Conference

The aim of the Conference organized in the Egyptian capital was to get to grips with the content of the UfM, particularly regarding large-scale infrastructures projects aimed at promoting development and integration in the Mediterranean region. This important gathering counted with the participation among others of Mr. H. Barakat, First Undersecretary of the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry, On. S. Craxi , Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic, and Mr. K. Sarwat Head of the International Relations Division of the Egyptian Ministry of Transport), E. Reviglio, Chief Economist, CassaDepositi e Prestiti) and M. Rivellini (Advisor to the Vice President, European Investment Bank).
