Workshop on Minimum Viable Product development to empower female entrepreneurs
- The Workshop on Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Development, co-organized by UfM and Womenpreneur-Initiative, and supported by GIZ, was held online on July 11th from 9h30AM – 12h30PM CEST.
- The workshop was attended by 60 female entrepreneurs from the Euro-Mediterranean region working in diverse industries and start-ups.
- The Expert trainer, Mr Ismail Zohdy. covered the knowledge and skills necessary to develop, test, and validate product ideas using the Minimum Viable Product approach. By the end of the workshop, through working with a cross-functional team, participants gained practical tools and techniques which could be applied to their product development projects.
11 July 2023, Barcelona, Spain – The Workshop on Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Development succeeded in empowering female entrepreneurs participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to actualize product ideas using the Minimum Viable Product approach.
The workshop was facilitated by the experienced trainer Ismail Zohdy, who delved into the fundamentals of MVP development, including the feedback loop approach, alternatives to the MVP approach, problem-solving strategies, different metrics, and the double diamond thinking process.
Participants, ranging from entrepreneurs and startup founders to product managers and designers, interested in lean product development and agile methodologies, had the opportunity to collaboratively work on testing their own MVPs with real users. The workshop highlighted the significance of cross-functional collaboration in MVP development, as well as the necessity to incorporate user feedback into product iterations.
Co-organized by Womenpreneur Initiative & UfM and supported by GIZ, the online workshop was commended for its highly interactive and hands-on structure, which provided attendees with practical tools and techniques directly applicable to their product development projects. The female entrepreneurs, who participated in the workshop, gained practical and concrete skills that can improve their own professional career and success. The MVP Development Workshop played a pivotal role in fostering a more innovative, responsive, and agile approach to product development, and it was a concrete learning opportunity to improve professional skills for female entrepreneurs in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
