The meeting to be held in Rabat aims to prepare the first Ministerial meeting on sustainable urban development of the Union for the Mediterranean. Therefore, it intends first to try and establish a common background of the major issues facing the Mediterranean among the member states , before considering more specifically the proposals for the Ministerial meeting.
