2nd International Conference of the UfM-labelled TouMaLi project

8-9 November 2023, Marrakesh – The UfM-labelled ‘TouMaLi’ project aims to minimize the volume of waste from the tourism sector in target countries in North Africa, and to recycle and reuse unavoidable waste in order to sustainably reduce the overall amount of marine and beach litter and to protect marine and coastal ecosystems. TouMaLi assesses the quantities and main sources of marine litter in target tourism destinations and provides sustainable solutions in the relevant countries. The 2^ndInternational Conference of the project, focusing on “Effective Waste Management for Sustainable Tourism and Marine Ecosystem Protection”, will be held in Marrakech on 8-9 November 2023.
