15–16 December 2026, Palermo, Italy – The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), together with the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) and with the support of the European Commission (DG EMPL) will convene the UfM Entrepreneurship Workshop as part of the first UfM Employment Forum.
The two-day workshop will bring together expansion-stage entrepreneurs from across the Mediterranean, supporting them in sharpening their expansion plans, building cross-border partnerships, and defining concrete next steps to address their most pressing business challenges.
Aligned with the UfM Action Plan on Employment and Labour 2026–2028, which prioritizes entrepreneurship support as a driver of decent job creation across the region, the workshop is designed for entrepreneurs who have moved beyond the idea stage and are seeking to grow their businesses nationally and regionally.
Through a participatory and project-based format, participants will explore financing, partnership and market-entry strategies, while addressing the leadership and resilience challenges that come with scaling a venture. The workshop will provide a practical space for entrepreneurs to exchange experiences, develop solutions and establish connections with potential partners across the Mediterranean.
Registration is now open. Entrepreneurs interested in participating are invited to register here.
Application deadline: 24 September 2026.
