The Center for Mediterranean Integration (CMI), the Mediterranean Youth for Water Network (MedYWat), the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), and their partners would like to invite you to attend the 5th edition of its World Water Day focusing this year on “Valuing Water”.
This year’s edition will continue to raise awareness of key water challenges in the Mediterranean region and will allow the new generation of water leaders to share their ideas on how to face those challenges.
The 2021 edition will also celebrate intergenerational knowledge sharing through a dialogue session dedicated to exchanging ideas and expertise.
The world water day workshops are a yearly event designed to connect and build the capacities of young professionals, researchers, and students involved in the water field in the Mediterranean region.
In 2017, the CMI launched the Mediterranean Youth for Water Network (MedYWat) and has since continued to support it as it has continued to grow and gain more visibility in the region. This edition of the World Water Day e-conference will include a presentation of the network, the progress it had made throughout the years, and how you could join it.
The event will also see the announcement of the water heroes contest winners.
