Final Statement Marseille, 3-4 November 2008
The Paris Summit of the ‘Barcelona Process: Union for the Mediterranean’ (Paris, 13July 2008) injected a renewed political momentum into Euro–Mediterranean relations. In Paris, the Heads of State and Government agreed to build on and reinforce the successful elements of the Barcelona Process by upgrading their relations, incorporating more co-ownership in their multilateral cooperation framework and delivering concrete benefits for the citizens of the region.
