Euro-Mediterranean University of Fes – Launching of first Masters Programmes

On 22 September, the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fes will launch the first two Master Programmes on Renewable Energies and Environmental Engineering accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education of Morocco. Mr Naser Tahboub appointed new UfM Deputy Secretary General for Water and Environment

Barcelona, 15 September, 2014. Mr Naser Tahboub was appointed yesterday as the new UfM Deputy Secretary General for Water & Environment by Union for the Mediterranean Senior Officials in Brussels. Originally from Palestine, Mr Naser Tahboub began his career at the West Bank Ministry of Finance and worked as General Manager at the Al-Aqsa Islamic Bank. The Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), Fathallah Sijilmassi, and the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, José Manuel García-Margallo, held a bilateral meeting today at the Ministry’s headquarters, in Madrid, to discuss Euro-Mediterranean cooperation and regional challenges, as well as the consolidation of the role of the Union for the Mediterranean for the reinforcement of regional cooperation and integration.
