UfM participates in the 10th annual meeting of the Clinton Foundation
Barcelona, 25 September 2014. UfM Secretary General Sijilmassi participated in the last day of the 10th annual meeting of the Clinton Foundation, yesterday in New York. The day’s discussions came to an end with a closing plenary session on how the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) members could continue to take worthwhile risks and dream big in order to unlock innovation and drive meaningful social change.
Hosted by President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton, the 10th Annual Meeting brought CGI members together under the 2014 theme of Reimagining Impact to facilitate the development of forward-thinking approaches that re-envision the way we impact the world.
The Clinton Foundation was founded in 2001 with purpose of strengthening the capacity of people throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence. The foundation focuses on four areas, namely health security; economic empowerment; leadership development; and racial, ethnic and religious reconciliation.
