UfM Side Event on the BLUEMED Initiative at the 2018 Fish Forum
13 December 2018, Rome, Italy. The UfM will organize a side event at the Forum on Fisheries Science in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea(Fish Forum 2018) that will take place on 10-14 December 2018 at the FAO Headquarters in Roma. The side event will promote, through a focus on the BLUEMED Initiative, the enhanced coordination of research and innovation activities as a key tool to support the sustainable management and use of the marine and maritime sectors in the Mediterranean Sea. The Fish Forum aims to bring together the wider community of scientists and experts working on fisheries and the marine environment in the Mediterranean and Black Sea in order to build a lasting network, discuss advancements in research, integrate scientific knowledge in support of decision-making and identify research priorities for the coming decade.
