The UfM celebrates a very special anniversary in 2020, being 25 years since the Barcelona Process was launched leading to the creation of the UfM in 2008. Yet the 25th Anniversary of the Barcelona Process comes at a time of great disruption for the region and the world, with COVID-19 serving as a stark reminder of the need for tangible cooperation across borders, sectors and peoples.
For this key session of the AIWF Webinar Series 2020, Ambassador Kamel, Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean, will share his key mission and partnership-driven approach to:
- Nurturing and empowering women in the social and economic spheres
