YOUTH, ENVIRONMENT, AND CLIMATE ACTION

ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE ACTION

Supporting these youth is crucial for turning their groundbreaking ideas into effective projects. The UfM focuses on empowering young leaders to drive meaningful climate action and create impactful solutions.

YOUTH, EDUCATION, AND EMPLOYMENT

EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT

With youth unemployment rates reaching 30-40% in the MENA region and 11% of 15-29 year-olds in the EU not in employment, education or training, the UfM is deploying initiatives to improve the employability of young people and promote access to quality education.

SOCIAL INCLUSION AND PARTICIPATION

In a Euro-Mediterranean region where almost a third of the population is under 24, young people are often excluded from decision-making processes and lack the support they need to make a real social impact. The UfM addresses this by creating platforms for knowledge-sharing, networking, and strategic partnerships, with a focus on supporting disadvantaged and gender-diverse youth.
