• A high-level delegation from the UfM Secretariat participated in the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC), held in Sharm El-Sheikh from 13-15 March 2015.
• UfM Secretary General Sijilmassi held strategic talks with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, other key Ministers, and business community representatives with a view to strengthening cooperation and exploring potential synergies.

The official launch of the UfM-labelled HOMERe project in Marseille will provide an opportunity to discuss young graduates’ transition to an active life in the Mediterranean region and the leverage which transnational company internships can have in helping them access the labour market. The testimonials from the first participants will illustrate how HOMERe works and its added value for young graduates and for companies.

The UfM Secretariat and the Agency for International Cooperation and Local Development in the Mediterranean (ACIM) signed an agreement to foster entrepreneurship and support productive investment for diasporas in the Mediterranean region.

The New Chance Mediterranean Network (MedNC) programme aims at improving the employability of young people who dropped out of school before obtaining a degree and unemployed graduates from Southern Mediterranean countries.
